21.41 hectares / 52.906251 acres. Latitude 48°29'26" Longitude 123°41'59". The property is located on Southern Vancouver Island, 20 minutes west of Victoria near Sooke, British Columbia, Canada.

Road access to the property is available (via Sooke River Rd.), a key may be required from the Capital Region District, typically with a $500 deposit and proof of ownership and possibly insurance. Immediate viewing of the property may be arranged through with a local operator at a cost of $50/hour for typically 2-3 hours. Access is also possible by driving to the northmost parking lot at Sooke Potholes Park, and traversing on foot, bicycle or ATV north on the Galloping Goose Trail to Leechtown, then east from Leechtown to the property. On foot this takes approx. 1 hour from the Sooke Potholes parking lot. The Islands climate, possibly the most temperate in Canada, provides year round access.

The property encompasses approximately 550 metres of creek frontage per side on Old Wolfe Creek, with additional exploration opportunities on a small unnamed feeder creek to the southwest of the property. The property is situated 2400 metres east of Leechtown, and the confluence of Old Wolf Creek with the Sooke River, a very close distance to where the auriferous Leech River also confluences. The property occupies an area formerly held by legacy claim.

Southwest Vancouver Island is principally comprised of Wrangellia to the east and Pacific Terrane to the west and southwest divided by Leech River Fault thrusts. The Islands Southern shores edge out into Sooke formation sandstone and conglomerate.

(From Minfile 092B050) Old Wolf Creek flows west (directly) along the Leech River fault which separates Jurassic to Cretaceous Leech River Complex (Formation) slates and schists on the north, from Tertiary Metchosin Volcanics on the south. The metasediments strike nearly west and dip steeply northeast. The topography shows the stream to have cut down through the bedrock leaving a series of gravel covered benches. Placer gold, found in the gravel, is believed to have been derived from small, but numerous, gold-bearing quartz stringers hosted by the Leech River rocks.

The creek was worked in the early 1930's at a location about 2 kilometres above Leechtown where, about 9 metres above the creek, an old creek channel was found (Minister of Mines Annual Report 1933, page 248). A total of 93 grams of gold are reported to have been recovered from the stream between 1936 and 1940 (Bulletin 28, page 16). It is believed that some gold was taken from the lower end of the creek in the latter half of the 1800's.

Past prospecting in the area and on small sections of the property revealed gold-bearing gravels 4-6 feet deep over bedrock. Gold runs relatively pure at 890 fine. An old channel may also exist behind the creek towards the hillside.
